Ratings and reviews

I liked the first two books. The last one, not so much. I felt like I fell off a cliff. The ending was very abrupt. I mean it was like she just died, the end. I hope they will alter the movies in the a way that it won't be so hard to swallow. I watched the movie first and then read the books and as much as I love the in-detail explanations of the books I actually liked the movie better. Also, I think Tobias deserves a happier ending which I hope the last movie will provide.

I absolutely enjoyed the first two books. The characters and action that ensues amongst them ties perfectly together and flows flawlessly. The third one was very difficult going back and forth from the lead characters' point of view. My head felt like I was playing ping pong. Tobias then Tris, Tris then Tobias, Tobias......but wait, was that Tris? I had to go back to the start of the chapter a few times to make sure. Definitely buy all three in bulk though, because you won't be able to put them down!!!

Yea, while I couldn't stop reading the series, I am very disappointed in the ending. Blah! It sucked. The first 2 books left me wanting more. While the last was hard to keep reading my expectations were high. Such a let down. It was definitely like the hunger games just fractions instead of games. A little to much magic really.
