About this ebook

In this dark, action-packed fourth book in the New York Times bestselling Dorothy Must Die series, Amy Gumm travels from Oz to the twisted land of Ev, where she fights to free Oz from evil once and for all.

My name is Amy Gumm. You might remember me as the other girl from Kansas. When a tornado swept me away to the magical land of Oz, I was given a mission: Dorothy must die. That’s right, everyone’s favorite Wicked-Witch-slayer had let the magic of Oz corrupt her. She turned evil. So I killed her.

But just when we thought it was safe to start rebuilding the damaged land of Oz, we were betrayed. Now I’m following the Road of Yellow Brick as it helps me escape toward the mysterious land of Ev, where the Nome King rules a bleak and angry world. And what I’m about to find is shocking: My original mission may not have been successful.

I thought my job was over, but it’s only just beginning. And it’s up to me to foil Dorothy’s plans for revenge—and finally save the land I’ve come to love.

3.5 stars Well it tried to make a comeback. About on par with the second book, but nowhere near as good as the first. Beats the third book that almost cost me my interest in the series. I do like how the Nome King's role was more tied in and I loved the appearance of Langwidere and the Wheelers. That added a fun element and now has me wanting to both see the Return to Oz and start reading the original books again. And for that I thank Danielle Paige. I am not sure with how it ended and the domino effect created in how Dorothy is finally thwarted. Not to mention the cliffhanger ending that can be an end or open us up for more. I just don't know. I wanted more explained into what happened to Oz, GLinda, Glamora and the Order at the end and I feel life that wasn't answered to my satisfaction. So many things I want to say on the end but cannot without spoiling it. It is not a bad ending, just not enough explained.

Absolutely phenomenal series! Just finished book four. Extremely worth the cost! I'm a 37 year old logger and have read this entire series under trees and in my bedroom... And a great deal on the toilet( I tell my boss I have I.b.s. so I can finish a chapter.... Shhh) Great plot line. Amazing and appropriate spins and twists... Sofa king love the Wheeler's and tin and scare and lion. Can't wait til the world is ready to see this on the big screen. Thank you Danielle Paige. Thank you so much... For making this tough guy ... cry.
