Patrick Little is senior research fellow at the History of Parliament Trust. His previous publications include Oliver Cromwell: New Perspectives, Lord Broghill and the Cromwellian Union with Ireland and Scotland and Parliaments and Politics during the Cromwellian Protectorate (co-written with David L.
