I was thrilled to see both brothers in action. John's brother's bit in both of the previous books is what stood out to me the most. Learning everything and seeing them both out in the field was exactly what I wanted from this book. The action was A+. This book didn't have as many twists as some of the author's other books. Overall I definitely enjoyed it.

Great story with well-developed characters. The interaction between John Puller and the other characters kept me interested even when the action slowed. I hope to see Veronica Knox again in another Puller story.

I became a fan of John Puller (and AWOL the cat) in Zero Day, which marked his debut as a character. Things got better in The Forgotten (John Puller #2), and The Escape (John Puller #3) was just plain awesome. It was good to learn more about John's brother, the disgraced and court-martialed Robert Puller. Great action and character development. I highly recommend it!
