Melissa Kelly, MEd, is a secondary school teacher, instructional designer, and the author of The Everything New Teacher Book: A Survival Guide for the First Year and Beyond. Melissa has wide-ranging classroom experience spanning more than two decades. She has taught middle and high school social studies, government, and economics in advanced placement, honors, and virtual school classrooms.
