Action, intrigue, and romance to swoon for!

With graduation just weeks away, guardian trainee Violet Fairdale is determined to claim the top spot in her class. But first, she’ll have to survive her final assignment—and the guy she’s been forced to partner with.

Her confusing feelings for Ryn aren’t the only thing making life difficult, though. With enchanted storms wreaking havoc in the fae realm, a murder within the Guild, and an Unseelie prince still determined to possess Vi’s special magic, graduation is about to become the least of her problems.

This book is awesome. All the characters are are simply awesome in their own way. Ryn, Tora friends love etc..... And it is was really emotional at the ending. The climax was so emotional it shouldn't be really ending like that. OK even though i know the author will write the next part of this i am actually sad of the climax.

This is the second book in this trilogy, and it doesn’t suffer from that slump some (okay, a lot) second books in trilogies do. It’s as interesting as the first book. Honestly, more so, which I wasn’t expecting at all. I’m not a huge romance fan, but what develops here is sweet, a little slow, and realistic. I’m totally for the relationship, and I’m so angry at how this book ended. I’m pretty sure it’s not as heartbreaking as I fear, but the author could surprise me in the next book. I still like the faerie world that’s presented. Sometimes, they do come across as a little too human, but then something magical will happen, and I forget how similar the faeries seem to humans. Maybe this will wear off in the next book, but I thought that about the first, and it didn’t happen in this book. The characters are well developed. Nothing super deep or unique, but they aren’t 2-D and bland. They serve their purpose in an enjoyable way, and I still want to see how things turn out for them. The villains could have used a tad more punch, but I don’t have any serious complaints. Yeah, this is a good book. I’m not sorry I read it, and I can’t wait to get the next novel. A solid four out of five stars.

I LOVE IT! A real page-turner. Although it was my first ever book to read on Google Play Books, obviously, i have no regrets there. The love story is just so well-written and thought out that every scene makes you squeal, shriek and squirm in your seat or bed... IT WAS SO AMAZING that the emotions of the characaters can be really felt by the readers that i cried once.. or maybe twice.. I have read both books in just 3 days (not including when i'm in class) and i just wish i could've also read the third book
