Very frustrating book because every scene seemed to contradict the one before, like the book had been tossed in a blender. For example: "I mistreated my wife and I'll do anything to get her back" is followed by "If you're not pregnant I'm divorcing you." "My working too many hours killed our marriage", "Promise me you won't mind if I work long into the night." The hero does constant 180's and the heroine has legitimate mental health issues that the author seems to think is romantic. This one was pretty miserable.

Wow, Jane Porter is fast becoming one of my favorites! This was a beautifully written story about 2 people who came into their marriage with some pretty heavy baggage from their pasts and thru this story were able to find a way to a much deeper and more fulfilling union! I love how Ms. Porter weaves together the stories of her characters in her books!
