Dan Hayden is a former Fish and Wildlife Officer who rose to the rank of First Sergeant and Marine Patrol Boat Captain in Northern Connecticut. Now retired, he is an avid outdoorsman who lives in southern Massachusetts with his high school sweetheart, Laurie. He has three grown sons.
