About the author

FLORENCE SCOVEL SHINN (1871-1940) was born in Camden, New Jersey and worked as a book illustrator in the early 1900’s. She became a New Thought author in mid-life. Her best known work is The Game of Life and How to Play It, which she self-published in 1925.
