About this eBook

Jack Reacher is alone, the way he likes it.

He watches a man cross a New York street and drive away in a Mercedes. The car contains $1 million of ransom money. Reacher's job is to make sure it all turns out right - money paid, family safely returned.

But Reacher is in the middle of a nasty little war where nothing is simple.

What started on a busy New York street explodes three thousand miles away, in the sleepy English countryside.

Reacher's going to have to do this one the hard way.

The book is a good read. It starts off good but gets a bit slow mid way and thereafter. Was my first of the Jack Reacher series. Looking forward to reading others as well.

Another good fast moving Reacher story. I've read them all now so hope that I can move on to something as good and un-putdownable.

Lee Childs is an imaginative writer, judging by his book cover artwork. I downloaded the free sample of this book. My thoughts on reading non-fiction were changed because he doesn't make his storys hard to read or to far-out.
