About this eBook

Reckless playboy Caleb Jackson has a taste for the forbidden and more secrets than he should have. Only one woman has ever tamed him – wanton yet innocent Bree Tucker, who bedded him once and never looked back.

Ten years ago, Bree Tucker lied, cheated and checked her self-respect at the door in order to spend just one night in Caleb Jackson’s arms. She’s never forgotten him. She’s never forgiven him either, for keeping their secret and letting her go.

When Bree returns home to Brunswick Bay, passion still burns, and this time Caleb makes his intentions ruthlessly, publicly clear. He wants her. He aims to claim her.

And he doesn't give a damn who gets in his way.

Book 2 is the second dose of the Jackson brothers we got to know in The courage of Eli Jackson. Whilst this novella can be read as a standalone it is easier to understand the dynamics of the Jackson siblings as well as appreciate it a lot more having read the first novella. This is a fast paced story about two people, that starts with a prologue of events ten years earlier. When the heroine returns to her home town the course is set for both to find out if they still feel the way they did ten years earlier. The hero, Caleb, believes love can conquer all and makes certain he proves it. The heroine, Bree, doesn’t believe she is worthy because of all that happened before she took on the world and made a name for herself in the photography world. Together the pave the way to making their new relationship work. It’s a short second chances read with good insights but well worth it.

The Heart Of Caleb Jackson is a fantastic contemporary romance by Kelly Hunter. I think this is my first book by Ms. Hunter and what a great surprise. This is a well-written book and the characters are phenomenal. Caleb had a one-night fling with Bree. his older brother's girlfriend. Bree leaves for college the next day and stays gone for ten years...leaving Caleb with his guilt. Now Bree is back. This book is packed with drama, humor and spice. I enjoyed reading The Heart Of Caleb Jackson and look forward to reading more from Kelly Hunter in the future. The Heart Of Caleb Jackson is book 2 of the Jackson Brothers Series and book 4 of the International Bad Boys Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. It does have a great hook into the next book though.

About the author

Accidentally educated in the sciences, Kelly Hunter didn’t think to start writing romances until she was surrounded by the jungles of Malaysia for a year and didn’t have anything to read. Eventually she decided that writing romance suited her far better than throwing sterile screw-worm flies out of airplane windows, and changed careers. Kelly now lives in Australia, surrounded by lush farmland and family, 2 dogs, 3 miniature cows, a miniature pig, a 3-legged cat and a small flock of curious chickens. There are still flies, but their maggots don’t feed on flesh. Bargain. Kelly is a USA Today bestselling author, a three-time Romance Writers of America RITA finalist and loves writing to the short contemporary romance form.
