About this eBook

The #1 New York Times bestselling series continues with a thrilling revelation -- three brand-new tribes of dragons!

Growing up in the hives, Cricket has always had a million questions. Why are trees forbidden, even in art? Why do her parents seem to hate her? And the biggest, most dangerous and secret question of all: why is Cricket immune to Queen Wasp's powers? Whenever the queen takes control of all the HiveWings, speaking through their mouths and seeing through their eyes, Cricket has to hide, terrified of being discovered. Now she's hiding again, wanted for stealing the Book of Clearsight along with her new SilkWing friends, Blue and Swordtail, and the fierce LeafWing, Sundew. The fugitives need answers, and fast, in order to prevent a LeafWing attack. But Cricket has more questions than ever. How can she stay hidden and discover the queen's deadliest secret? And if she does succeed -- can a powerless dragonet really do anything to topple a regime and stop a war?

This was a well written book and I loved it! Cricket was such an amazing character! This book had a lot of twist, some humor, and a little bit of romance. I do recomend this series!

All of these books are amazing. When I got done reading the Darkness of Dragons, I wasn't really into it since I was still hooked onto The Jade Winglets. I stopped reading the books for like a couple of days and I read The Lost Continent again, I understood it more the second time I read the beginning. I kept reading the book because it was getting so good. Then I come to this book and omg, I just loved it. All if the secrets going around the Hives. I can't wait to keep reading onto The Poison Jungle, etc.

This series is so well written. I love it. However, I am concerned that this book will not bring us the promised continant crossover. It is already balancing the leafwing attack and queen wasps deepest secret, (as far as I can tell from the description) plus it must resolve blue's fate.
