This is NOT the sappy, teen angst, lovey-dovey, cliche, over-done Vampire story. This is dystopian fiction at it's finest. The protagonist develops and matures through-out, and though he was difficult to understand at first, and I found myself perplexed sometimes at his naivete, as the story goes on, you begin to comprehend his perception and why he is the way he is. He is a human who was never really afforded the right to BE human, pretending to be something he is not because to be what he actually is is certain death. He ends up battling with what is right and what means survival. I highly recommend this book. This is definitely NOT the kind of book you think it is. You may be pleasantly surprised. =)

Fanatastic, enticing read for the mind! Each chapter that goes by, there isn't a moment which the author doesn't leave the reader craving for more details.
