Perihal e-buku ini

A new 2023 edition of Joseph Conrad's classic The Inheritors from Livraria Press with an extensive Afterword and expanded reference materials including a character list and discussion questions. The Inheritors is Conrad’s 1901 novel written with Ford Madox Ford at the turn of the century. It is a science fiction epic written for written for the hubris of humanity at the turn of the century, pivoting on the mortality and universal corruptibility of human nature, the ignorance of the "cult of progress", the inevitable reckoning of Man to Nature, and the immutability of humanness. The plot follows a group of radical materialists calling themselves the "Fourth Dimensionists" who are attempting to seize control of society for the good of society.
