About this eBook

THE JEZEBEL Danger follows when she flees into a rogue Captain’s arms

Fleeing from those with unscrupulous interest in her, Maisie Taskill’s goal is to find safety in the highlands of Scotland, with her kin. In order to gain passage from London to her homeland she plans to win over a rugged sea captain with the only currency she has: her virginity. With her enemies on her heels, Maisie has never needed a hero more. Captain Roderick Cameron might be her man.

Maisie submits to Roderick’s raw sexuality in search of protection, but their initial attraction grows into unbridled desire, unleashing devastating consequences. Then the journey takes a dangerous turn, because the superstitious crew are unhappy at having a woman on board. With Maisie’s wealthy sponsor giving chase, Roderick must stay one step ahead of the British Navy before Maisie’s presence causes a full-scale mutiny. He may believe he has full command of his ship, but with a jezebel aboard he’s about to get much more than he bargained for.

"This stellar entry entertains with its unbridled sexuality and intelligent storytelling. Love overcomes all obstacles during a rocky voyage, both on land and sea, as Maisie and Roderick find their happy ever after. The crew of the Libertas adds its own dynamic to the tale."  Romantic Times Book Reviews magazine.

Please note: This is an explicit historical romance novel, an adult title featuring earthy language and scenarios appropriate to the historical setting. Previously published with a different cover.

This whole series was a fun read, but I really liked this last book. Historical romance, magic - check. Add a dashing Scottish privateer (aka pirate ☠) to the mix and this girl could swoon. There will be some swashbuckling and some bodice-ripping along with some serious hot and heart passion. Please don't think that this is only a small fest because it's more than that. The author continues on with the overall series plot about reuniting the witchy Taskill siblings. The journey to get there is full of pitfalls and heartaches, as well as new wonders and hope. In the end, there is a lot of character growth and a truly great ending. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This well written book was a joy to read. I am so impressed with this series it has been so good. This fantasy deals with Maisie, if you have read the other books her mother was brutal killed when accused of being a witch. The three Taskill children are pure magic and have been separated. They all are working toward getting back to Scotland. Roderick Cameron the hero of the piece is just the right man for Maisie. There is danger and action all within this on the edge of your seat read. It appears the ladies in this series like the ship captains because we have two heroes to enjoy. I recommend this book but I hope you read all three because they are all five plus star rated for me. I did receive a free copy of this book from Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
