'The Jungle Book' is a collection of stories by English Nobel laureate Rudyard Kipling. The tales in the book are fables, using animals as talking characters to give moral lessons. The stories revolve around the adventures of an abandoned 'man cub' Mowgli who is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle. The boy is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle with the help of Baloo the bear and Bagheera the black panther, and then has to fight the tiger Sher Khan. The story is very interesting and captivating with an underlying moral tone. The original flavour of this classic has been carefully retained in this abridged version.
