The plot is lackluster and the mystery unappealing. The romance is incredibly boring, we have no idea why these 2 people are interested in each other and they speak to one another like work acquaintances. The overall writing is basic, its like the students in Intro to Creative Writing class who can write cohesively but have no real panache. We are given an overabundance of details that aren't important. All of the characters were one dimensional. There are three sisters that are interchangeable: one who had a divorce, one who is owned by a dog, and one who is the main character. The fourth sister gets ragged on all the time because she doesn't want to give up on a life she's established and supposedly doesn't know what's good for her. The moral of her story is: don't pursue your dream career because it will amount to nothing. The most well rounded character is the love interest, but he's about as exciting as a lump of mild cheese. I will forget this book even exists by tomorrow.

Wonderful book ! An adventure that you don't want to end. Very well written and all the characters seem to jump off the page and come to life ! I thoroughly enjoyed this book !
