I think there's a good idea here, but there's not enough detail to say. I wish the author had answered a few questions. I don't get the world yet, and I really want to. Otherwise, it's an alright story. The action is pretty good.

I enjoyed this book however ridiculously short it was. The plot was riveting. That said, the constant teen internal dialogue annoyed me to the point where I skimmed through most of the book to get to the actual story. It's a little annoying to end a book just as the story seems to begin and then search for the next installment. Alas, things we do for entertainment...

I agree with others' comments. The plot is absolutely amazing - yet the book falls terribly short due to the amount of pages, its sad to see :(
