Yet it is the tragic murder of Zyes beloved older brother that spins his life out of control, and Zyes future may, for the first time, be irrevocably altered.

Rachel Carter is a senior at Lakota East High School. She marches a sousaphone in her school’s marching band, shows a western quarter horse named Whodunit Dee Lux, and works as a rides operator at an amusement park. This is her first novel.
