Kentucky girl Lloyd Sherman, known to one and all as the Little Colonel, embarks on her final adventure in The Little Colonel’s Knight Comes Riding. When Lloyd and her friends returns home from Washington, D.C., they find that the boys they grew up with have matured into graceful young men.
The Little Colonel struggles between her desire to still be a child and her desire to live the life of a sophisticated young woman. But childhood sweetheart Rob Moore’s proposal of marriage makes the Little Colonel all the more aware of her developing adult emotions.
