About this eBook

This best-selling series follows the adventures and training of young Merlin, the great wizard who counseled King Arthur.

“A novel rich with magic.”—The New York Times Book Review

“An extraordinary journey of mind, body, and spirit—for both Merlin and ourselves.” —Madeleine L’Engle

A raging sea tosses a boy upon the shores of ancient Wales. Left for dead, he has no memory, no name, and no home. But it is his determination to find out who he is—to learn the truth about his mysterious powers—that leads him to a strange and enchanted land. And it is there he discovers that the fate of this land and his personal quest are strangely entwined.

Thanks to this series: the Wheel of Time is not just a clock, the malazan marines defended a crippled god, there were countless other books and many many millions of words to be read. I cannot thank T.A. Barron enough and I cannot recommend this book enough to any one with an interest in fantasy or not.

I read this book in my youth and have always loved it. A wonderful adventure full of magic, hope, love, and strength. Would love to have the whole collection in one book.

A storyline in the book is EXACTLY like the Disney movie "The Black Cauldron." I wonder if they are both rooted in the same myth.
