A series of young girls, strippers, are found mutilated and abandoned in the streets and byways of the French Quarter in early 1972. As more bodies turn up, at first in the Mississippi River, and then across the river in Algiers, the detectives assigned to the case are baffled: what sort of deviant could be responsible for such horrific behavior? Barry Vass was born and raised in Ontario, California. He attended college in Pomona, California, and Honolulu, Hawaii, where he studied Business Economics. He moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where he worked as a bartender in a well-known jazz club for several years, then relocated to Las Vegas, where he worked “behind the tables” in several major hotel-casinos. He currently lives in Lancaster, Ohio. This is his third novel.
