About this eBook

Enjoy this twisted fairytale reverse harem paranormal romance novel by best-selling author Charmaine Rossā€¦

Dumped at the altar by Douchebag Derrick, I decided my best course of action was to go on the Hornbag Honeymoon cruise of a lifetime - alone.

What the hell was I thinking?

And just like any self-respecting woman, I got so drunk I fell over the safety rail and into the warm waters of the Pacific. Way to go Arielle. Although certain death was imminent, I was rescued not only by one sexy-as-sin powerful merr-king. His brothers also had their say in what they wanted to do to me.

Then colour me pink and call me surprised when they said I was their Fated Mate and that I was going to save their kingdom. Through bonding sex. Thatā€™s when I knew this was one big dream and it was my brain easing my way to the afterlife fuelled by my biggest secret sexual fantasy. Way to go brain.

But when I was abducted by a giant carnivorous octopus who digested people over the better part of a week, who was the pet of a psychotic megalomaniac intent on overtaking the world ā€“ and claiming me as his mate in the process ā€“ I knew I wasnā€™t stuck in some dream.

No, that would be a much better alternative. This was real and I was in trouble.

A loose retelling of The Little Mermaid in this why-choose humorous adult fairytale.

For fans of Katie May, Tessa Hale and Avery Phoenix, this is a HOT romantic story with a guaranteed happily ever after. It includes some strong language, dark magic and oh my, steam sexy times. Enjoy!

A interesting take on the little mermaid in adult form.I found the story to be funny and entertaining at times. The male characters are a sexy combo. The female character felt like seeing through an average life of work, eat and sleep dreaming of something but not knowing what might be. I didn't find her intelligence lacking in my opinion. When dealing with doubts, insecurities and relationships your mind is just not 100% clear or sane. I applaud this author and thanks for the entertaining ending. šŸ˜‰

It was a novella and let me tell you the author very much wanted to remind you of that again and again. Honestly at the 72% finished mark after I struggled so hard to stay with the story line I simply had to give up and stop reading. I know this has been written you know it has been written bow stop reminding me of that and let me get lost in the writing. Proof reading wouldn't go amiss either. Names often incorrect. The use of slang vocabulary can be confusing. Seems to drag out a fair bit by repeating the same points over and over again.

I hate to do this. I don't give books low reviews. But this book is genuinely just that bad. The writing was self-deprecating towards the author in a way that constantly took you out of the story. The inner dialog of the main character was also very immature for her age and beyond repetitive.
