So far so good easy to understand, if you have google play you need to download thr play books version update for the books its separate it's your library. I've seen people confused about looking up a book it's up at the top of the Bible the search bar type in the book or the table of contents gets you there faster! Remember to type in the chapter and the verse if you want to be specific on what your reading you can adjust the format the light the text up at the top right corner. I hope this helps someone. Remember to download the Google play update if it ask you, click download and your book should come right up! ✅️

same issues as others mentioned, really disappointed that a lot of the experience was waiting for pages that don't load or not being able to access different books of the Bible. Have requested refund.... The message reads fine on the Kindle app, repurchased & no refund from play books

I really enjoyed this book until it stopped working. Now it will not load anything but blank pages. I've tried removing it and re-downloading. I've even deleted the Google Books app and re-installed it. No change. It is extremely frustrating to pay for a book that I cannot read, and I can't find an option to request a refund. Major disappointment!

About the author

EUGENE H. PETERSON is a writer, poet, and retired pastor. He has authored more than thirty-four books (not including The Message). He is Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Theology at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. Eugene also founded Christ Our King Presbyterian Church in Bel Air, Maryland, where he ministered for twenty-nine years. After teaching at a seminary, he created The Message, a vibrant Bible paraphrase that connects with today's readers like no other. It took Peterson ten years to complete. He worked not from any English text but from the original Hebrew and Greek texts to guarantee authenticity. At the same time, his ear was always tuned to the cadence and energy of the English spoken every day on the streets. He lives with his wife, Jan, in Montana.
