Randy Johnson, a former green beret platoon leader in Vietnam, has now settled into the peaceful life of an Idaho rancher. Idaho’s television stations issue Breaking News alerts almost hourly providing the latest gruesome statistical details of newly discovered mutilated cattle—many found on ranches adjacent to Randy’s—and that concerns Randy. Five hours later the mutilators strike Randy Johnson’s isolated horse ranch—and all hell breaks loose. It is up to law enforcement to find the answer and solve the mystery. Can they do it?
