This is a collection of sixteen fairy tales. Most of the stories come from either the British Isles or Spain. There is one from Italy and two are from France. Every story in it is eminently "tellable" and takes its proper place in the world where understanding among different races and cultures must begin in childhood-- if we are to achieve a just and lasting peace.
