Ozma of Oz: On Dorothy’s next magical journey, she winds up in the land of Ev, where she meets new friends such as the mechanical man Tik-Tok and the clever chicken Billina. But to save the imprisoned royal family of Ev, Dorothy calls upon her friends from Oz—including the Tin Woodman, the Scarecrow, and the new queen of Oz.

L. Frank Baum (1856–1919) was born in upstate New York and began writing stories at a very young age. Best known as the author of the beloved children’s classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, he wrote thirteen sequels set in the Land of Oz and numerous other novels, poems, and plays.
