To be honest, I don't really like the end of this book. So flat.. But... this book is overall amazing. I hate (in the good way) how the author stir your emotion with a simple, short,but shocking line (like how he mention when his sister is pregnant). This book makes me look like people with personality disorder; I smiled, but just few minutes later my eyes wide open, shocked. Not so long I will hold my tears, not so long I burst out laugh. The author even mention the love between two boy (or man?) without make it overdone. Good book for teenager, I really appreciate the value of this book. Not a waste at all...

Actually, first I know it from the movie but when I read the book. It turns to greater, more epic, I can absolutely give my big applause for this book.

Stephen Chbosky wrote and directed the feature film adaptation of his award-winning novel, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. He has worked in film and television, on projects including the film version of the smash-hit musical Rent; the TV show Jericho; and others. He also edited Pieces, a collection of short stories for Pocket Books. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Chbosky graduated from the University of Southern California’s Filmic Writing Program.
