Gideon Defoe was born in 1975 and lives in London. He is the author of The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists, which has been made into a stop-motion animation film by Sony/Aardman, The Pirates! In an Adventure with Moby Dick, The Pirates! In an Adventure with Communists and The Pirates! In an Adventure with Napoleon.
