Tori Elliot wants a break from work, and she almost makes it off the ship. The HIA however draft her in and the money means she can have a decadent Spa stay for a month, so she accepts their offer. She is to be the head scientist to lead a team to test soil samples and assess any threat to the inhabitants. With all her qualifications, what is the one they need her most for.. she is young and female!!!! Ambassador, Prince Quinn is a born jokester but a very capable diplomat. And he is very sure that he is never getting mated - famous last words! Quinn doesn't exactly have a great first meet with this frosty scientist, she finds him in a liplock in the hallway. Quinn is determined to bed Tori and then he knows he will get her out of system. Quinn’s relentless and Tori decides to play him at his own game. She thinks she will be a roll in the hay and he'll move onto his neck conquest, which suits her just fine. But fate has another ending in mind for these two. I love Michelle’s stories, especially as this series overlaps so you get to see the action from several standpoints and timescales within the overall story arc. Quinn is just a fantastic foil to Tori, who hides her passion and sexual nature under a shell of professionalism, wanting to distance herself from her sister. No spoilers here but the teddy bear scene is HYSTERICAL!!!!

I love Michelle's books and have been a reviewer of her's for along time now.All of her books have a purpose and that is for the reader to enjoy and be entertained.Mission achieved. Dr. Tori Elliot is a woman who's stuck between her devotion to her work and her secret burning desire for a handsome teasing Prince.When Tori Elliot is sent to the planet to help test and look for more possible biological threats that may be hidden on the planet she finds more then she ever thought she could bargain for. After finding there are no more treats present she is asked to stay behind to test the strange soil and the moss that is found in the marshes. Prince Quinn is the Ambassador for the Var although serious and very good at his job he can be carefree and very playful when it comes to winning the affection of women.That is all about to change when he meets Tori. He can think about no one but her ,there's one problem he knows she wants him but she won't easily give in .He decides to make it his mission to woo her to win heart and in to his bed and won't stop till he does. She finally begins to soften to him by agreeing to be his date on an important night for his people. He wines and dines her resulting in a very hot passionate night for the two.The next two weeks are often filled with passionate play but not before some serious worked .Quinn becomes jealous of Tori relationship with her co- workers making him some what cold towards her, but the hot sex still remains. When test results come in they find the Planet is now faced with a new and deadlier treat then before. A sudden death and a race against time to find answers.When things seem go bad it gets worst then they possibly think they could.Hearts are aching and actions must be taken. But will it be to late?

Prince Quinn, the Var Ambassador, can’t imagine committing to one woman, like his brother King Krill. With so many to choose from, why settle for one. That is until one sexy scientist walks in on him making out with one of the harem girls in the hallway, totally unacceptable behavior to Tori Elliot, HIA scientist. She quickly puts him in his place and leaves. Tori has been sent to make sure the biological weapon their dead father King Attor brought on the planet to wipe out the Draig hasn’t leaked from its container and contaminated anyone. They give her one month and three other scientists to make sure nothing was affected on the planet. Prince Quinn is intrigued and makes it his mission to flirt with her and shake her up. Somehow the plan backfires and he falls in love. Unschooled in the art of “dating” thanks to his worthless father, Quinn doesn’t understand what is wrong with him or how to deal with his feelings. But when danger comes to the scientists, Quinn will do anything to get Tori back! I love how the relationship developes between Quinn and Tori . It’s really kind of cute how clueless he is, even with King Krill’s “help”. Really enjoyed the book. Can’t wait for the next one.
