Penulis bernama lengkap Muhammad Galang Pratama. MgP adalah nama penanya. Ia merupakan mahasiswa semester V di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Alauddin Makassar. Aktif menulis puisi, opini dan laporan reportase. Ia merupakan redaktur dan salah satu pendiri Lembaga PERS Mahasiswa Informatika Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum, UIN Alauddin Makassar. Ia juga aktif di organisasi Lembaga Penelitian dan Penalaran Mahasiswa (LPPM) UIN Alauddin Makassar serta sebagai koordinator bidang pendidikan dan penalaran Mahasiswa di Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusannya.
