This book's main focus is about keeping our thoughts on God and letting love for him be our motive. Brother Lawrence points out his own wretchedness and says God blesses him and does favors for him anyway. The more we keep our sights on Him, the easier it is to continue doing so due to the habbit that forms. Very good book. I plan to read it again. Perhaps many times.

Not sure that I agree that God sends us suffering, but otherwise a bit repetitive
