Charlotte and Brando’ s marriage of convenience in The Price of Dangerous Passion by Jane Porter is a tale filled with passion, drama, and stubbornness. PR executive Charlotte Parks had a rule about mixing business with pleasure which she broke when she with a former client, Brando Ricci. Six months later she finally visits Florence, Italy to inform Brando she was carrying the consequences of that night. Tycoon Brando cannot imagine raising his child anywhere but in Tuscany, surrounded by family. He informs Charlotte that the only solution is that they must marry, and quickly. Charlotte is just as demanding, inflexible and stubborn; refusing to partake in a marriage of duty. Now it is up to Brando to convince her to do the right thing; while trying to keep their hearts off limits. I struggled with Charlotte; her rigidness, her attitude, and her feelings for Brando. In addition she appeared unfeeling and cold which was probably a result of her crazy upbringing. Brando was a playboy, as well as macho, high-handed, controlling and as alpha as they come. Ms Porter wrote a wonderful, passionate and emotional story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with off the charts chemistry, intense emotions, and charming secondary characters giving Charlotte and Brando a chance for having a loving family. I highly recommend The Price of Dangerous Passion to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

A marriage of convenience. Charlotte has a rule, never mix pleasure with business until she meets Brando. One night of passion will change their lives forever. Charlotte shows up in Tuscany, on Brando's porch six months later with a big surprise. Brando is a player but wants to do what is right and expected of him, he wants to marry Charlotte and raise their baby together. Charlotte wants to marry for love. Loved these characters, both so stubborn in what they want but learn that they can work together. Great dialogue. I highly recommend this book.

The Price of a Dangerous Passion by Jane Porter a great story. I loved the setting and storyline. Once I got into the book I didn't want to put it down. The author knows how to give you a great story that keeps you intrigued that you just want to know how it ends. I've read books for Jane Porter in the past and she never disappoints me.
