Catherine (Cathy) Hapka has written more than one hundred books for children and adults, as a ghostwriter for series as well as original titles, She is the author of several series about horses--the original early reader series, Pony Scouts, the middle-grade series Horse Diaries, and for Disney, the teen series Wildfire, based on the TV show about horse racing. Also for Disney, she has has written junior novels for the popular High School Musical: Stories from East High series, Winnie the Pooh books, and of course, the Disney Buddies junior novels. She has written original stories such as Pardon My French and Something Borrowed.
