Having failed to trick Number Six with a virtual-reality simulation, The Village turned the full might of its ‘mind-fracking’ technology on the ex-MI5 agent, leaving him in a catatonic state. Left in the ‘Zombie Ward’, Number Six was saved by the other ‘mind-fracked’ inhabitants of The Village who telepathically restored his shattered psyche, urging him to tell the world about them.
Number Six removed his tracking device and force-fed it to one of the guards before escaping to the beach. There, a Rover emerged from the sea and, ignoring Number Six, killed the guard instead before returning back to the sea. Number Six followed the Rover back to its underwater lair and made his way inside the control center of The Village. There he discovered files about himself and a mysterious message that read: ‘Be Seeing You…’
Hearing a gunshot, Number Six discovered that Carey had killed Number Two and was now the new head of The Village…
