I hesitated before buying this because I don't go for stories written in the first person, nor do I care for the irritating references to sport, but it was worth the cost for the trial against the bent insurance outfit alone. It was mesmerising in its suspense.

what can I say, other than the fact that it takes a lot of imagination n creative sophistication to make a civil trial so engaging and enthralling to read.. got to hand it to John Grisham, master of court room drama šŸ¤™šŸ½šŸ˜€

To be perfectly honest, I never believed that a civil trial could be interesting. But the way John Grishsam put everything in the book was simply astounding. I enjoyed it very much.
