The Right to Information Act, 2005 is a golden piece of legislation which enacted to ensure transparency and accountability in governance of the country. Dr. Pushkal Kumar Pandey is native of Gorakhpur. He has taken his education in Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Allahabad and Varanasi. He has completed his Masters in Law in 2006 and awarded Ph.D. in Law from Banaras Hindu University in 2010. He qualified for UGC-NET in 2012. He had practiced at Bar and taught various subjects of Law in Lucknow, Dehradun and Noida. He also participated in several seminars on Right to Information Act since 2005. He worked with Oriental Bank of Commerce, State Bank of Mysore and presently working with State Bank of India in the Capacity of Manager (Law). With all his theoretical and practical experience and knowledge he chooses to write this book on the Right to Information. Since this topic is very close to his heart and mind as this Law intends for transparent administration accountable towards common people.
