Tom, Dick and Sam have attended a military academy but now their days at Putnam Hall are over and they're getting ready to go to college. Before they go, they take a cruise on a steam yacht with their father and some friends, looking for an island that is reported to have a hidden treasure. Adventures happen and they get lost, lose their yacht and almost lose their lives.
