She wonders if she will end up like other TV personalities: her own stereotype.

Boring. Repetitive. No intrigue and technically stupid. Skip it! Have you noticed that it is not written from Scarpetta's point of view: the subject is no more "I" but She or He. The whole story seems to come out of the blue and the characters have no insight and no psychological deepness. I hated it as much as I loved the first Scarpetta novels.
