Alex Semakin is an English teacher and teacher-trainer with almost 30 years of experience and an MA TESOL from the University of Manchester. While continuing to train teachers of English, Alex has recently branched out into materials writing. He has written several coursebooks for Oxford University Press (China). He has also written and edited teacher-training courses for Language Fuel in New Zealand and INTESOL in the UK. Meteorology has been Alex’s hobby since childhood.
