I enjoyed this story! The topic was very deep and touching. The first 3/4ths of the book kept me interested and engaged, but the last 1/4 didn't really have any depth. The end went fast as if the author was just trying to get the book over with. I liked the characters so I'll read the other novels just to see if the author can keep telling good stories.

This book was a quick read that kept me interested from the beginning. I generally opt for longer stories but this one was a nice change. I like how you can see how Ella evolves and faces her past by admitted she's capable of loving someone even though she's terrified to lose another person she cares about.

I have only one complaint...too short. It was such a poignant love story that I wanted some more of the good, thank goodness there is a part two. Oh and one more thing...more details on the love scenes. Other than that, I really enjoyed the whole story from beginning to end.
