For me, this series is starting to feel like a funhouse mirror season of Castle. Each book has its own case to solve, but there’s still this big mystery tying everything together that we’re desperate to learn more about. When Alice’s co-worker and friend goes missing but no one seems interested in looking for her, Alice does the only thing she can: takes on the job herself. In the process, Alice learns more about the people she’s closest to, the nature of magic, and even herself. I almost feel like I have more questions now about the ‘big picture’ than I did before I started this book. We get some answers, but now they’ve just made me hunger for the rest of the story. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.

Quite a few spelling errors but that does not detract anything from the story which is even better than the 1st and 2nd. Loved it. Found it amazing 🥰

I have been enjoying the series so far. There seems to be more questions than answers. Must read.
