Shaw received the 1925 Nobel Prize in Literature and shared the 1938 Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, which he won for the film adaptation of "Pygmalion". Other notable works by this author include: "The Admirable Bashville " (1901), "Androcles and the Lion" (1912), and "Saint Joan" (1923).
