The Siren...Extremely disappointed. I loved this author, in previous books. The end of the book seemed so rushed for a conclusion, especially compared to the beginning that was more drawn out. Overpriced for such a short story.

Cass know how to create a different world. The Siren was a good read. Enjoyed Kahlen's relationship with her sisters and Ocean. I wanted a bit more of a romance element from Kahlen and Akinli, think it could of helped feel more connected Akinli.

I liked the story a lot. I think the author could have done way more with it. Turned it into a trilogy even. The climaxes weren't even that big of a deal. And why rush into the love..boom! Soulmates! And sometimes it was confusing trying to decide who was talking between all the italic fonts.
