In their own cultures they stand as beacons of inspiration, largely because the common people have taken them into their hearts and continue joyfully to sing their words to this very day."

Deepak Chopra, a member of Oprah's SuperSoul 100, has written more than fifty books translated into more than thirty-five languages. He is also the author of more than 100 audio-and videotape series, including five critically acclaimed programs on public television. Dr. Chopra serves as director for educational programs at The Chopra Center for Well Being in La Jolla, California, and as chairman of MyPotential, Inc.
