Robert Webber began writing academic textbooks, but soon realised he had a novel in my heart struggling to escape. When it finally emerged, it had grown into a series, and Carlton Chronicles was born. Robert describes himself as 'an incorrigible optimist which he likes to think is tempered with a little realism, although some might suggest that it is really confusion disguised by recklessness!' He lives in Northamptonshire.
