The first and last short stories are excellent classic Poe, the chapters in between I found boring, analytical, and difficult to read given the words used being of old England of the late 1800's (almost like reading a foreign language, nothing like U.S. English).

Poe was one of the greats, as his horror wasn't just thrilling, but psychological as well. All of these tales are guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat!
