I was born in a hamlet within the ancient city of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. My career as a broadcaster began with the tenure of Script Writer, Program Organizer, Controller, Editor, Regional Director of three stations and finally Director Research. I Participated in advance training on mass-media for one and half years commenced at the Carl Duisberg Gessellschaft in Germany. I had the priviledge to be involved in research activities on world religions, Pre-History and Archaeology at the Cultural Division of Deutscher Akademishcher Ausltausch Dienst. My travels have taken me to 18 countries in East and West on seminars and other engagements. Where ever I went I used to secure facts and information on subjects that fascinated me and have incorporated these in my literary works such as THE THERAPY and three research volumes on Views on Buddhism. To my credit I have published six books and the latest is; 'Pre-historic Lanka to end of terrorism’ which is set for print in Sri Lanka. My literary works include dialogues and screen plays for two movies, a stage play and several series of dramas for radio and articles to News Papers and Periodicals.
