About this eBook

The Trilisk Supersedure is the third book in the PIT series.

Having secured an amazing new base of operations that provides for their every material need, Telisa, her fellow smuggler Magnus, the alien Shiny, and the new recruit Cilreth head out on their third expedition in style with robots and advanced Vovokan technology at their fingertips.

Their target is the fourth planet in the Chigran Callnir system, a place known to be the site of a Trilisk colony. The team soon finds out the ruins are not as dead as they thought, and they aren’t the only ones interested in the legacy of the Trilisks.

An entertaining series improvement, supplying fresh characters, intensifying pace, and signs of a series plot arc beyond planet-of-the-month adventuring. The dungeon-crawl sections were a little disorientingly written. Interactions are still more those of trope-laden ciphers than three dimensional characters, but did get me invested. The brewing conflict since Book One is the instability of an alliance with an unpredictable alien. Now I want to read on to see how it inevitably fails.

There are concepts in this series that expands the mind, but it is a pulp sci fi book that won't be winning any major awards. Fun read, worth getting.

Another well written and imaginative novel. Meandered a bit and I felt the ending was a bit abrupt with too many unresolved threads. But at least I can pick up his next novel (or was that the idea?) Definitely worth reading.
