I don't live in a sorority house anymore, but the experiences I had there are still with me. I'm still friends with my sorority sisters, and I consider the days I spent with them in college to be some of the best of my life. In the most basic, positive and profound ways, being in a sorority has helped me to become the person I am today. Claudia Welch graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in English. While there, she became a member of Alpha Phi, one of the oldest sororities in America. A two-time RITA finalist, she has won numerous writing awards and honors since her first novel was published in 2000 under a pseudonym. She has lived for most of her life in Los Angeles, called Connecticut home for a decade, and currently lives in North Carolina with her husband.
